Distinctive Tree Care LLC was started in March 2004 by Connecticut Licensed Arborist Jason T. Yerke. His passion for trees started when he was very young working at his grandfather's fruit farm, Green Acres in Wilbraham, MA. He studied landscaping and arboriculture at Rockville Vocational Agriculture High School in Vernon, CT. Jason then completed a bachelors degree in Urban Forestry from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, MA. After college, Jason worked for Asplundh Tree Expert Co. running their residential and commercial services division for four years.
The company mission is to offer the highest quality tree care and arboricultural services while providing a safe work environment for our employees, customers and the public.
