Winter Tips

Winter is the best time to evaluate the structure, safety and health of your trees and shrubs.

Pruning to remove dead wood, crossing and interfering limbs can be done.  The shrubs and trees are dormant, branch structure is easier to see.  Once a poor branching or poor tree structure is identified, then either a pruning can be performed or a support system installed to help keep the tree strong and safe.

Hazardous limbs over homes, sidewalks and driveways can be identified and removed.

A plant's size can be reduced (especially if done in winter).
